Upgrade to Beta version of app
We're constantly adding features to Buzzshot. Sometimes you may want to get early access to a new feature before it's in the main release. You can do this by switching to the Beta release.
WARNING: along with new features is the potential for new bugs, the Beta releases are still in testing so may have problems. You can always switch back to the release version though.
You can always check which version of Buzzshot you have installed by going to the side menu and looking in the bottom right hand corner.
• Latest public app version on iOS is 2.9 (643) available in Apple App Store, released June 2024.
• Latest public app version on Android is 2.9 (644) available in Google Play Store, released June 2024.
To switch to the latest BETA version please follow the instructions below for all your devices (tablets and phones) that run Buzzshot:
For iOS Users
- Go to the App Store and install the Testflight app from Apple
- Open the following URL on your iPhone or iPad device and follow the instructions: https://testflight.apple.com/join/AjFHZK0B
- Buzzshot will now show up in Testflight, tap "INSTALL" or "UPDATE" to install it
- Open Buzzshot and select "Update settings" from the menu
You are now running the new version of Buzzshot. If it gives you any trouble and you need to downgrade just go to the App Store and install the version you find there, this is the current release version and will replace the beta pre-release version. Please note however that when downgrading the app will be reset so you'll lose unsaved data (data that has saved to the server will be saved always though).
For Android Users
- Visit the following url on your device and agree to enter the Beta program: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.buzzcollector
- Go to the Play Store and search for Buzzshot
- Update or Install the latest version (you may need to restart your phone and/or wait a few minutes if it's not updated yet)
- Open Buzzshot and select "Update settings" from the menu
If you need to downgrade for any reason you can visit that url again and opt out of the Beta Programme. You'll then be able to go to the Play Store and install the older version. Please note however that when downgrading the app will be reset so you'll lose unsaved data (data that has saved to the server will be saved always though).
Feedback When Testing
Please direct all feedback to support@buzzshot.com. I really do want to hear your thoughts on everything even minor things or stuff that didn't work at first but you got working later. Your thoughts on new versions are really valuable!
