Inviting a player to pre-register before they arrive

Time is tight before a game, especially with a large group. Pre-registration lets you collect player details in advance, so there is less to do at the door.

Buzzshot emails each player a link. They use it to agree to your waiver and give their name, phone number and anything else you collect, before they arrive. They can also invite the rest of their team from the same form, so the email address of whoever booked is enough to start.

How to send an invite email

  1. Log into the Buzzshot admin on your computer
  2. Click Create Group
  3. Fill in Group Name (you will need it to find the group again when the players arrive) and Room. You can change the room later
  4. Enter the team leader's address in Invite team leader with email
  5. Click Create Group

Buzzshot sends the invite and adds the team to the app. When they arrive, select the team and add any extra players.

How to customize the emails sent

Pre-registration sends two emails: Buzzshot to player invite, when you invite a player, and Player to player invite, when that player invites a teammate.

Edit both under Settings > Emails.

Send an invite link by some other method

To send the invite link by WhatsApp, SMS or anything else, create the group without an email address and copy the link Buzzshot gives you.

  1. Log into the Buzzshot admin on your computer
  2. Click Create Group
  3. Fill in Group Name (you will need it to find the group again when the players arrive) and Room. You can change the room later
  4. Leave Invite team leader with email blank
  5. Click Create Group
  6. Copy the Invite Link that Buzzshot now displays

Automatically send invite emails with Bookeo or Xola

The Bookeo and Xola integrations send a pre-registration invite to each person who books, with no work from you. Activate the integration and the invites start going out.
